A Little Birdie Told Me... that daisies and dots are where it's at!

Every once in a while a collection comes along that gets you really really excited...

...for me this is one of those collections!!!

daisies & dots is designed by piece of cake designs
you know... becky & linda.... the amazing queens of appliqué!

The debut fabric collection by Piece O’ Cake Designs from Robert Kaufman features three bright & cheery colorstories, a trademark of Piece O’ Cake’s popular look. Playful dots in all shapes and sizes create an overall retro feel, while sweet & whimsical florals add a feminine touch.

Piece O’ Cake Designs is owned and operated by Becky Goldsmith and Linda Jenkins. The pair first met in 1986 at a quilter’s guild meeting, and since then have become especially known for their appliqué designs. Becky and Linda are also top selling authors for C&T Publishing. Their quilt books and patterns can be found in a variety of places: at local quilt shops, on many quilting websites, from C&T Publishing, at many book stores, and on the Piece O’ Cake website.

I like the yellow daisies with the turquoise center best. I could sure use a "roll up" of this.

Love what you're doing with Daisies and Dots Julie! I like the small turquoise dot and the large red daisies, but they are all pretty cute.

The Flowers in the bubbles...in the green and blue. I love the circle round! I am so hoping to get going on Dr. Seuss this weekend! But I may end up working on a Fall project from 2 yrs ago...thats my pledge, one new, one old. And I am trying! Oh and I'm going to pull together Iraqi bundle too!

My favorite fabric is the dots (brown?) sashing on the quilt with the appliqued border. Pieceocake always has great dot fabric designs. Thanks for this informative review.

Love, love, love the line. I especially adore the daisies - large and small. The colors are crisp and fresh. The blues are beautiful.

Thank you! This will make it easy to stop buying fabric now, knowing that this line will be available just after Christmas. I can hardly wait! I love all of it, but especially the dots. Oh, my mind is reeling!

daisies and dots? all my faves. i love them all, but the bubbles call my name.

I like the giant dots. They remind me a Dr. Suess book that was my favorite as a kid...can't remember the name...I am working on a quilt for my son and his future wife. They are getting married on Halloween so I have a fall theme going on in the quilt and am quite happy with it.

Love the big red daisies! Working on nursing cover-ups for my daughters and lotsa cute stuff for new granddaughters!

I love the red in the bubbles and the small daisies & dots at the end. In red, they both have a classic bandana feel but in a fresh & up to date pattern. I'm collecting jeans for a denim lapquilt or picnic quilt & I'm thinking the red bubbles would make a great backing!

I have always been such a fan for bright colours and these are really yummy! And the variety of designs scale is just too awesome to pass! I think (for now) I just love the blue colorstory....and I might just add to my favourite of green when I look more and more of it! Thanks for the review and the pics Julie!
