London-Themed Fabric for the Olympic Season

Seeing as how the London 2012 Olympics are right around the corner, we thought this would be a perfect time to give you all a sneak peek at Laurie Wisbrun's newest line, Next Stop London!

She has delivered yet another fabulous collection and really captures the essence of London with her illustrations of Big Ben, London Bridge, red old-fashioned phone booths, and big double-decker buses.

Looks like all kinds of fun, does it not?

And the timing of its release could not be better! Next Stop London will ship out to stores later this month, giving all of you quilters out there more than enough time to make some amazing projects before the Olympics kick off in July.

And we all know that the Games will be all anyone's talking about come summertime! So get into the spirit of London, and as always, don't hesitate to share with us all the fabulous ideas you come up with!

Now to the best part: We're giving away the four half-yard cuts you see in the picture above! Just leave us a nice comment for a chance to win. And on Monday, April 9th, one lucky winner will be chosen at random to receive the whole set!

Brilliant - London buses and taxis - plus Big Ben, Tower Bridge and the London Eye - what more could you want.

Love this collection. Will have to look out for it when we visit London over the summer. Would be perfect to make my daughter a tote or laundry sack out of.

What a great idea with the upcoming Olympics! We were able to go to the winter Olympics in SLC and had such a blast. I can see the fabrics used for great shirts and scraps used for Olympic Scrapbooks. It's all fun!
