A Little Birdie Told Me... Feel Better Soon!

Hi Everyone,

Julie's been a bit under the weather this week so she'll be back next week, Dec. 10th with some fun stuff to share.

In the meantime, how about a giveaway to bide our time?!

Want to win a ten-square of the Daisies & Dots collection by Piece O' Cake Designs before it hits stores next month?? It's just what you need to make a Dot Party quilt or a ton of other projects!

Tell us what Christmas projects or presents you're working on for a chance to win. We'll leave the comments open until 12 noon PST on Monday 12/6.

Good Luck & feel better Julie!

I'm working on a quilt (only my 2nd one) for my niece, and trying to teach my 11 year old DD how to sew. Fun weekend, except my quilt squares aren't measuring what they should. Ugh.

I'm working on some (ok lots of) bunting to give to family and friends. Each bunting flag is shaped like Christmas trees in red and green fabrics. If I didn't have so many to make, I'd quilt them but I have to make about 20 strings with 11 trees on each. LOL And I have to make a purple quilt for a friend who has been very generous to me :-)

I'm working on a Christmas quilt with a bunch of different Christmas fabrics I've added to my stash over the years. And I'm making pillow cases for all of the kids in the immediate families, complete with the child's name appliqued on them. The pillow cases will be used to wrap the rest of the gifts to the kids.

Actually, I made 7 quilt Christmas projects for our kids that live in CA (we're in PA). I started them in August and finished in October. I mailed them the end of Oct. as we were going out there for a 2 week visit in November.

I made a variety of quilts and wall hangings. I made a Bargello wall hanging for our DD's bedroom, a Disappearing 9 Patch lap quilt for my DIL, a machine embroidered wall hanging for my 3 year old grand son with Disney characters, a table topper from Moda Turnovers, a bed quilt with big trucks on it for my grand son, a large lap quilt for my DD, and some pot holders and placemats for my DIL.

Now that we're back, I've been working on a Christmas table runner for my SIL.
