A Little Birdie Told Me... There’s an App for That!

Robert Kaufman has come out with a Quilting Calculator for the iPhone!

  

Here is a screen shot of what the app looks like on your phone.

  

My favorite feature is the Binding Calculator.

Now I know not everyone has an iPhone. Personally I don't even have one! (Thanks mom for letting me borrow yours for the demo.) I have a Droid2 so I was happy to hear that the app will be coming out soon for Android phones!!

 

Once you download the app we'd love to know what you think.

Best app ever! Great video showing the features. I just used it the other day to calculate the backing and binding. So easy to use!

I wish it was avail for the droid now! Right now I go to a website that actually has a great calc but it would be even better to have an app on my droid phone since it would make reading the results much easier! Kudos to Kaufman for getting it done!

Just waiting for the droid app here. I was so sad when I saw the iphone app and couldn't find one for droid. Glad to here it is in the works.

I downloaded it the day they announced it and I LOVE it! It not only comes in handy while you're at the shoppe but while designing too! So much faster to calculate yardage needed instead of breaking it down on paper :)

What a great ap. PLEASE will you post to let us know when the Droid version is available?? I KNOW you're going to get that so you can let us all know ok? Please? I don't have the newer phones yet but hubby does have the Droid something or another so he can download when available. He always goes fabric shopping with me anyway because of my bad knees so he can help me with that if I need it. :)
